About the Summer in Salisbury 2012
What
Summer in Salisbury 2012 is a marketing, events and “green” initiatives program that targets adults and families 25+ and builds visitorship to Massachusetts’ most popular summer beach destination—more than 1 million people visit the beach annually.
Summer in Salisbury is a series of a free, public festival and events that are designed to attract more than 100,000 visitors to the Beach’s commercial district from the Merrimack Valley, North Shore, Greater Boston, and Southern New Hampshire regions as well as tourists to the seacoast from the New England and Canadian markets.
Who
The events will be hosted by the 501 c-3 non-profit Salisbury Beach Partnership, and Salisbury Chamber of Commerce.
Why
Summer events establish Salisbury as a desirable place to visit and live. These events support the year-round efforts of the Partnership, the Town of Salisbury and the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce’s efforts to advance member’s business goals, spur economic development, attract families and mature adults to Salisbury, as well as to focus on important beach preservation initiatives and work toward revitalization of Salisbury Beach.

Free waterfront family-friendly beach campfires with a good old-fashioned campfire sing-along and the opportunity to roast marshmallows and make s'mores. Expected to attract upwards of 5,000 people. Dates and times to be announced. - Weekly Surfside Live! Concert & Fireworks Series
